The task you keep doing

Plain language is perfect. What is the task, when do you do it, and what does the finished result look like? If part of it annoys you or keeps getting sent back, say that too — it's exactly what the skill should fix.

Interview prompt copied. Open Claude below and paste it (Ctrl+V, or Cmd+V on Mac). Claude asks a few questions first — answer what you can, then type Proceed.
STEP 02 · HAND OFF

Open Claude and paste

A new tab opens. Paste the prompt (Ctrl+V / Cmd+V). Claude reads your task back, asks 3–5 plain questions, and waits. When you reply Proceed, it builds the complete skill file, the save-it steps, and your test prompts.

Why only Claude? Skills are a Claude feature — a saved file Claude loads whenever your task comes up. Other AI tools can chat about your task, but they can't save or run a Claude Skill. If the Skills option isn't visible on your Claude plan, the interview still works: you'll get the full instruction file, and you can paste it at the start of any chat until Skills are available to you.

What to expect: the interview is built from Anthropic's own skill-writing practice — it captures your steps, your format, and your rules so Claude repeats the task the way you'd do it on a good day. Nothing is built until you type Proceed, and the final file never includes real names, client details, or passwords — placeholders only.
